UL 891 Low Voltage Switchgear
Product Overview
UL 891 low voltage switchgear is engineered for power distribution in commercial and industrial facilities, fully complying with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and applicable U.S. and Canadian safety standards. This standard governs design, construction, and performance requirements, ensuring exceptional reliability and safety under high current loads and short-circuit withstand conditions.
Technical Specifications
The iWDS low-voltage switchgear manufactured by Shanghai Infraswin Energy complies with UL891, CSA22.2 NO.244, NEMA PB-2, and NEMA 1 enclosure standards. Circuit breakers use UL489- or UL1066-certified breakers.
Features
- Compact size
- Easy installation with very short on-site installation time
- Tested to UL891 and certified for the U.S. and Canada
- Feeder current ratings: 100A, 150A, 250A, 400A, 600A, 800A, 1000A, and 1200A
- System voltages: 120/240, 208Y/120, and 480Y/277 AC
- Systems: 1Ø3W or 3Ø3W or 3Ø4W or 3Ø5W
- AC breaker frames can reach 65 kA at 690 VAC and 100 kA at 480 VAC without fuse components
- NEMA 1 protective enclosure
- Full-height add-on or standalone distribution section
- High-conductivity copper busbar provided
- Busbar interconnection between sections
- Independent feeder device up to 1200A
- Micrologic trip breakers used as main or feeder switches
- Ample space for breakers (single feeder cabinet up to 10 MCCB circuits; cabinet height up to 90 in / 2286 mm)
- Feeder compartment heights: 100A 6.9 in (177 mm); 150-250A 8.7 in (222 mm); 400-600A 10.5 in (267 mm); 800-1200A 12.2 in (311 mm)
- Continuous copper ground bus
